Enjoy a private tour “Beyond Skagway”.
Tours include one of the family as driver/ guide and a SUV or mini-van.
Other options you may request, are a picnic at a lake, lunch at a friendly cafe in Carcross, (on your dime), stopping more or less often for photos, (for example, if the kids are napping, we can keep driving, so they don’t wake up), a scavenger hunt, GeoCaching, building an inukshuk, renewing your wedding vows or helping you plan a wedding. If you’d like to do something, ask us and we’ll try to make it happen!
TOUR OPTIONS:
3 Hours $360 per vehicle, tax included
Travel the Klondike Highway to the top of the White Pass Summit, the Alaska sign, and beyond to alpine vistas, climbing approximately 3,292 feet in 15 miles. This includes scenic photo stops, a chance to build an Inukshuk, a city tour, and a visit to the Gold Rush Cemetery.
4 Hours $480 per vehicle, tax included Continue past the Yukon Border, to Bove Island. This 110 mile round trip tour provides you a better chance of seeing wildlife than the 3 hour tour offers, as most bear sightings occur in the Yukon.
7 Hours $840 per vehicle, tax included
This tour length, gives you time for doing mostly all the listed options! It is our favorite length of time, for a tour to Emerald Lake and back.
*Some options for your day if you book a 6 or 7 hour tour, may include a visit at the Caribou Crossing Museum, to pet the puppies ($8 each extra),or take a cart ride behind a team of huskies (dog cart rides start at $37.75 for adults and $35.75 for kiddos). You may make a visit to the Yukon Suspension Bridge, or a tour at the Totem Pole Carving Shed in Carcross.
White’s Pass Train option. You reserve the train by calling 907-983-2217. It costs $82 each, in addition to our tour cost. It’s best if you book the afternoon train (2:45-4:30pm), from Fraser to Skagway. We will take you on a tour to Emerald Lake, then take you to Fraser, to get on the train. Adding the train to your tour works best with a 6 or 7 hour tour! If you prefer the 7 hour tour, book for a 7:30am departure, which is great because it gets us out of Skagway ahead of the big bus tours. With the 6 hour tour, we’ll leave Skagway at 8:30am. Ask us about other train combinations if the 2:45 train is already fully booked.
