Enjoy a private tour “Beyond Skagway”.

Tours include: guide/driver and a vehicle that  seats 2-11 passengers.

Our vehicles are equipped with seatbelts, AC, or heat if needed.  Ask us, if you need a booster or car seat. We carry binoculars and bottled water. We are licensed, insured, and love to have fun!

Our tours are private.

We create custom tours to meet each group’s specific interests. We strongly believe that this is the best aspect of our tours!  We cater to YOU!  Therefore we do not offer individual seats in our vehicles, only private group tours.  We believe that combining groups diminishes the enjoyment of the custom tour.

We follow the Klondike Highway, while watching for wildlife and stopping for photos. We enjoy sharing stories of the 1898 Gold Rush and history of the areas we drive through. All of us have spent a considerable amount of time, living in Alaska! Kids, big and small, will enjoy our scavenger hunt along the way.

Our favorite departure time for 5-9 hour tours, is at 7:30am, so we are out of Skagway ahead of all the other tour companies! We ARE custom tho, and will work with you if you desire another time.

3 Hour Summit Tour

$360 for up to 6p./$420 for 11p.Van  (Afternoon Departure) Travel to the summit of the White Pass Summit and beyond to alpine vistas, climbing approximately 3,292 feet in 15 miles, stopping for photos. We stop about six times during this tour.

4 Hour Deluxe Summit Tour

$480/$560  This tour encompasses everything you will see in the three hour tour, plus time for a stop at the Skagway Overlook, Gold Rush Cemetery, a short hike to Reid Falls or a coastal drive to Long Bay Overlook.

5 Hour Carcross Discovery Tour

$600/$700  This 130 round trip tour takes you over White’s Pass to the small Yukon town of Carcross.  We make the same stops as our 3 hour tour, but in addition, there are about six more stops at lake overviews and a better chance of wildlife sightings while in the Yukon. We will have a restroom/snack break in Carcross.

6 Hour Emerald Lake Tour

$720(up to 6p)/$840(up to 11p)  This 140 mile round trip tour includes about a dozen photo stops, plus time for lunch in Carcross, then beyond there, to  the Carcross Desert and sparkling green Emerald Lake.

7 Hour Emerald Lake Plus Tour

$840/$980  This, our most popular tour, gives you time for enjoying more tour options! This tour takes you to Emerald Lake, with options to stop at some of our favorite hidden places, enjoying our scavenger hunt or a picnic near a beautiful lake.

7 hr. Caribou Crossing Option.  We arrive here before the crowds. You or your children may want to pet Husky pups, who are being groomed for running in the Iditarod Race ($8.50), or pan for gold ($12).

White’s Pass Train option. You reserve the train by calling 907-983-2217. It costs $84 for adults and $42 for 2-12 yr old children, in addition to our tour cost. Due to occasional fog in the pass area, it’s best if you book the afternoon train (2:45-4:30pm), from Fraser to Skagway.  We will take you on a tour to Emerald Lake, then back to Fraser to get on the train. Adding the train to your tour works best with a 7 hour tour!  Ask us about other train combinations if the 2:45 train is full, or your cruise ship departs Skagway before 6pm.

2-4 Hr. Dyea Townsite or Chilkoot Trail Tour/Option.   Choose this as your only tour, or add additional time to any of the above tours by heading 8 miles on the less-traveled scenic, coastal road to the wooded Gold Rush townsite of Dyea.  Add 2 hours to your tour, for the drive out and back, stopping for wildlife and scenic photos. We may spot seals, eagles, bear or whales.

Allow 3/4 hours if you’d like to explore Slide Cemetery, where 100 people perished in an 1898 avalanche or hike the wooded 1 mile loop at the old townsite of Dyea (only one storefront is left of the town, but it is a beautiful historic walk).  Perhaps, you’d like to hike 1/2 mile of the historic 33 mile long Chilkoot Trail, the very same trail 10,000 hopeful gold seekers hiked in 1898. A great spot for photos can be had at the base of a stairway, that will look as though you climbed the Golden Staircase without all the hard work!  You will learn a part of Gold Rush History that we don’t talk about while on the Klondike Hwy. tour.

Tours cost:
$120 an hour for a 6p SUV or 5p mini-van
$140 per hour for our 11p van (everyone gets a window seat!)
These are not per person costs, but per vehicle, and includes tax.
